The RTAA retractor is a high-quality, pneumatically actuated retractable rotary spray nozzle cleaning system designed for the hygienic cleaning of pipes, channels and vessels. It operates in AIR/AIR mode (pneumatic extension and retraction) and is designed for low-pressure liquid distribution as well as cleaning applications within a range of 0.5–5 bar (recommended 2–4 bar). RTAA device variants are available with or without a nozzle shut-off and with different nozzle types.

The RTAA retractor with T50 rotary nozzle is equipped with a shut-off cap, so the nozzle system is hygienically retracted and closed in the park position. During operation, the T50 rotary nozzle provides a backward spray distribution of up to 325° with an optimized droplet pattern and an effective cleaning performance of up to Ø 2.5 m with a spray circle of up to 4.0 m.

Thanks to variable mounting options, the RTAA series retractor is also well suited for insulated equipment sections or channels. The pneumatic control offers flexible application options, enabling future-proof solutions, maximum process optimization and potential cost savings. RTAA retractors are configured to customer specifications; selectable options include stroke length, process connections, flow rate, sensors and materials. For use in sensitive areas, RTAA systems can be supplied with position feedback (open/closed).

Optional weld-in flanges can be provided, adapted to the applicable standard and the existing pipe radius, to achieve a flush and hygienic installation. Please contact us directly to learn more about RTAA nozzle systems.
