The BRM Compact is a compact, mobile barrel cleaner with water drive for cleaning the inside of barrels with a capacity of 225 to 600 litres. This unit, unique worldwide, is designed for maximum efficiency. It consists of an HRK cleaner, a compact mobile frame and an optionally available loading ramp.
The barrels remain on the rack during cleaning; the barrel cleaner is inserted directly into the barrel from below. The very compact, spherical high-pressure spray head can be inserted quickly and without damage through the bunghole (larger than Ø 38 mm), and the dirty water drains out through the bunghole. A compact water turbine uses the energy of the cleaning water to drive the cleaning head at the same time – the unit works without a cable, and cleaning starts as soon as the ball valve is opened. The head rotates at 10–30 rpm and covers the entire inside of the barrel (360°) with its two nozzles. The speed can be varied via the water volume and adapted to the available water volume with different nozzles. Depending on the degree of soiling, a complete cycle takes approx. 3–5 minutes. Thanks to the modular design, the individual components can be replaced, so the unit is quickly ready for use again after servicing.
