The BRM is a mobile water-driven barrel cleaner for cleaning the inside of barrels with a capacity of 225 to 600 litres. It consists of an HRK cleaner, a mobile trolley and an optionally available loading ramp.
For cleaning, the barrel is taken from its storage location and placed on the optional loading ramp. The cleaning head is inserted from below through the bung hole (larger than Ø 38 mm), and the dirty water drains out through the bung hole. A compact water turbine uses the energy of the cleaning water to drive the cleaning head at the same time: it rotates at 10–30 rpm and its two nozzles cover the entire barrel interior (360°). The speed can be varied via the water flow and adapted to the available water volume using different nozzles. Depending on the degree of soiling, a complete cycle takes approx. 3–5 minutes.
The water-hydraulic drive makes cleaning convenient and safe. The BRM is durable, easy to maintain and very quiet. Thanks to the modular design, individual components can be replaced, so the unit is quickly back in operation after servicing.
