The BRA HD is a mobile handheld unit for cleaning the inside of barrels directly at the storage location. It is one of the world's first barrel cleaners on the market with a water-hydraulic drive and integrated extraction: instead of an electric motor, a water motor drives the cleaning head. The unit thus achieves the same convincing cleaning result as the proven barrel cleaners with electric drive, while offering greater operator safety.
The BRA HD consists of a cleaning head, a water motor and a connecting pipe and is inserted through the bunghole (larger than Ø 37 mm) into barrels with a capacity of 225 to 600 litres. Via the connecting pipe, the water motor drives the R40 cleaning head, which rotates at 12–20 rpm depending on the flow rate and covers the entire inside of the barrel (360°) with its two nozzles. During and after cleaning, an integrated injector system extracts the dirty water through the suction pipe – the vacuum required for this is generated by the high pressure of the cleaning water. A complete cycle takes approx. 3–5 minutes.
Thanks to the modular design, the cleaning head, water motor and connecting pipe can be replaced individually, so the unit is quickly ready for use again after servicing. The handle, bunghole fixture and height-adjustable barrel support ensure a secure hold on the barrel. The BRA HD is durable, easy to maintain and runs very quietly.
