The BRA HD Flex is a mobile hand-held unit for cleaning the inside of barrels directly at the storage location. Instead of an electric motor, a water motor drives the cleaning head – with the same cleaning result as the electrically driven barrel cleaners and increased operational safety. Thanks to the flexible suction foot, the unit can be inserted into stacked barrels even where space is tight.
The BRA HD Flex is inserted through the bung hole (larger than Ø 37 mm) into barrels with a capacity of 225 to 600 litres. The water motor drives the R40 cleaning head via the connecting tube; depending on the flow rate it rotates at 12–20 rpm and its two nozzles cover the entire barrel interior (360°). During and after cleaning, an integrated injector system extracts the dirty water via the suction tube – the vacuum required is generated by the high pressure of the cleaning water. Cleaning and extraction thus take place in a single operation; a complete cycle takes approx. 3–5 minutes.
The bung hole fixture and height-adjustable barrel support ensure a secure hold on the barrel. The BRA HD Flex is durable, easy to maintain and very quiet. Other tube lengths are available on request. Thanks to the modular design, individual components can be replaced, so the unit is quickly back in operation after servicing.
