Fast rotating chemidiscs produce a permanently uniform, droplet-shaped liquid distribution. The intelligent liquid bearing makes these rotary nozzles extremely durable compared to their ball bearing counterparts. Chemidiscs have already achieved operating times of over 25 years. Some of these products are highly resistant to high temperatures or when operating with steam or compressed air. An extensive range of 180° spray patterns is available with many connection options and materials. Chemidisc are optimal for installation in conveying and filling systems and for cleaning sterile tanks.
The CHEMIDISC is a fast rotating tank cleaner which is perfectly suited for the replacement of static spray balls. In this way, liquid consumption and cleaning time can often be significantly minimized, especially compared to static spray balls. The CHEMIDISC is an alternative for expensive cleaning nozzles made of Hastelloy, it is made of chemically resistant materials optimal for the chemical and pharmaceutical industry.
In operation, the cleaning medium drives the rotor, which rotates frictionlessly and at high speed on a bearing of cleaning liquid. This turns into many high-energy drops, which are hurled at high speed simultaneously against all areas around the cleaning nozzle. CHEMIDISC tank cleaners are ideal for impact rinsing and can be operated at any angle. Due to the CHEMIDISC’s plain bearing system, these nozzles can often be used for years with virtually no wear.
The CHEMIDISC is also available in stainless steel and Hastelloy as TURBODISC and as retractable cleaning nozzle RETRAKTOR MR2. A large type selection is available in different sizes and designs. The CHEMIDISC promises exceptional service life even when used with compressed air or superheated steam sterilization and high temperatures. Areas of application: Brewing, beverage, dairy processing, food, pharmaceutical, chemical and transportation industries. Rinsing and cleaning of vessels, tanks or plant components of various dimensions, process vessels, reactors, dryers, granulators, storage tanks, coating machines and tank containers.
Female thread mounting
Chemidisc 75/100/150 standard units are equipped with cylindrical female thread BSP (British Standard PIPE according to DIN ISO 228). Optionally, Chemidisc 100/150 are available with tapered female thread NPT (National Pipe Taper, American pipe thread for self-sealing connections).
